Hey all,

A shop here has a Navy Arms/Uberti SAA revolver that has caught my eye. It is blue with a case colored frame and hammer, in .45 Colt, with a 5.5 inch barrel. I think its the "Cattleman" model. Its all steel and has very nice dark walnut stocks. It is used but appears to be in excellent condition.

They are asking $320. Is that a good price? Only ok or too much?

Thanks for your help!

Uberti built several models on the Cattleman theme. The price sounds about normal as far as book goes, locations means alot also. Around me they aren't that popular and bring lower prices. For a price in that range alot of shooters choose the Ruger over the Colt clones.
The auction sites have them from $350 to $450 right now.

Somebody is jacking the price up. Navy Arms never made or sold a Cattleman model. Uberti did. I would look for the Gunfighter models from Navy Arms. I shoot Rugers myself. Navy Arms is going to get some business from me though.
