Will the models in .45 colt also fire .45ACP?

Yes and no
No, they won't fire ACPs in .45 Colt cylinders. As you are probably aware, the ACP headspaces on the case mouth, necessitating an appropriately placed ridge in the cylinder wall. Hence, a .45 Colt will not fit into an ACP cylinder and an ACP will go too far in for the primer to contact in a .45 Colt cylinder.
However, some special runs were (are?) made with second, .45 ACP cylinders in addition to the .45 Colt cylinder.

IF you can find a used "New Model" Ruger Blackhawk 45ACP cylinder, odds are fair that it'll drop into a 45LC Vaquero (about 50/50 odds) - if "fitting" is needed, it's generally minor and most gunsmiths can handle it.
While the cosmetics would be odd, it doesn't hurt function if a stainless cylinder is used in a blue/casehardened gun or vice-versa.
Unfortunately, Ruger won't set you up themselves.
The cylinders turn up on EBay sometimes...

Davidsons had a run made of dual cylinder RVs. 357/38 and 9MM, 45 LC and 45 ACP, 38-40 and 40 S&W are the ones I recall.

There is a .45 ACP cylinder on E-bay as we type, actually. I would get it, but that would mean one more caliber I'd have to stock :).

There are some "Special Edition" Vaqueros out there that have both cylinders. I don't remember ever seeing them in a Ruger catalog. Most I have seen are stainless. If you shop the net, you can find one.

Well there's apparantly also been some fraud in this area.
Stainless Ruger SAs with the conversion cylinder are rare (Blackhawk OR Vaquero). So some morons out there are finding blued cylinders, stripping them, giving 'em a high polish, fitting them to the gun and getting "stainless sets" worth "big bucks"...
:scrutiny:
Bring a magnet. It won't stick to both cylinders to the same degree.
