Being fairly new to reloading, I found this article very helpful in shedding some light on this vague term that seems to be subject to many definitions. I especially appreciated the explanation in the context of various disciplines (eg long range/short range hunting, target riflery, shotgunning) and the fact that it explains the numerous variables shooters use to define what cartridge efficiency means to them in their specific application (eg recoil, foot pounds per grain, velocity etc).

Anyway, just wanted to offer it to all of you. Let me know what you think.

Thanks, Seedtick. Not sure how that happened. Just copy and pasted but didn't notice that the url had been truncated. Sorry about that.
