I dont need a "need"

Guntalk recently posted about a couple of new ammo rounds. Both of these were met with a lot of who cares and I dont need that. I like guns, period. I could most likely fill all of my gun "needs" with a .357 blackhawk for myself and a .38 for my wife. Most of the time when I go look at guns I have no idea what I am looking for untill I see it. I may buy a gun that I like because I have a set of loading dies for it. I will consider a .243 wssm if I see a rifle so chambered, but need will have nothing to do with it. If it came down to need I guess I would have to sell 60 or so guns and a bunch of reloading stuff. If I read a post about something that doesnt appeal to me I usually just keep going without a comment. By the way, this is one of the most civil groups of like minded people I have found on the net.

With that many guns, you should fit right in here.
I'm pretty sure most people here have way more guns than they "need".

A world dependant on 'need' wouldn't much be worth living in...

I think you always need more guns or more ammo because what if the first hundred guns had catastrophic jams or the first 10,000 rounds all had primer failures. Then you would need another gun or another box of ammo! See!
