These look very interesting. Do they work? Are they worth it?

I'd want more than 16 or 19 dB noise reduction ... for sure at the indoor range where I shoot most often.

Yes they work, and are more comfortable and stay in better than most in-ear plugs.

The noise reduction is fine in most cases, but on a crowded range or extended rifle shooting I usually put some earmuffs on over these.

I've since upgraded to a set of Peltor Tacsports, but I still use these on hot days.

I hope so - because I ordered a pair yesterday. They're nearly $20 with shipping, but will be worth it if they are comfortable, stay put, and do the job.

Hmmm, not sure if they are worth it with reviews like that.

Yes, they work. I have a few and have been so impressed with them that I've given them as gifts.

Always double up with muffs over plugs.

The best you can do is active muffs over plugs.

My dad's doctor just told him to start using them. After a lifetime of music, steel work, shooting, driving with the windows down, and cutting firewood under the mantra: Ear and eye pro is for sissies", the doc told him he can't afford to lose any more hearing.

I usually do at the pistol range, but I find that the muffs get in my way when I shoot rifles. At the rifle range I just use little yellow plugs that came with my glock.
