I think I'm finally got the hang of this. Here is my $20 Philly and I think the one above is its big brother. But maybe not the top one is made by Dikar of Spain. the Philly by Jukar of Spain.

Cool!
I built two from CVA kits in the '70's, both made by Jukar.
Heck of a price too. I think each kit cost me more than that.
The only difference that I see is mine has a pin in the barrel lug & a brass front sight.
Here is the one that I still have.

Hud, They look like the same. Is the pin that you have. Go through the lug on the barrel? There is no lug on my barrel. Maybe it just for looks. It was in bad shape when I bought but it cleaned up pretty nice. The lock and the trigger work fine. I'll make a sight out of something. Don't think I'll ever shoot it.

Campbell49T, even though you can't pin the barrel to the stock, a couple or three shots with 10 grains of 3fg under a .440 patched ball should do no harm. The tang screw goes all the way through and is threaded into the trigger plate, right?
C'mon, man. You KNOW you want to try it!

I shoot a pedersoli 45 Long rifle...
Dang! I do too. Mine is a flintlock Pennsylvania-style with a 42" barrel. What is yours?

ACORN MUSH,
I got two Pedersoli's Long rifles.
"Chambersburg" Penn. 45cal.
Kentucky long rifle 45 cal.
They both are 42" percussion. The Kentucky I traded for at my last Rondie.
I like it so much my wife got me a new Pennsylvania. Last month, I only got to shoot it one time. The weather is not been so good in Colorado

Cambell;
I like the picture, with the tube radio....Trans-Oceanic clone (Hallicrafters?) and an honest to god typewriter.
Living the old days as they should have been, that's my motto.

Shipcheif. You were right on the radio and it works. If you look close in the right hand corner. I have a Smith-Corona in a carrying case. They both work. I have a few old radios. One was made in the 30's and it still works. I also got a collection of old bottles from the 1800s. The only thing that I got that is not old. Is my wife, she is 12 years younger, of 21 years.
Have a Good Day

But does she work?
:D
Reminds me of a "biggest lie" I once heard in a lie-telling contest. An old farmer said he had 3 sons and 5 flashlights, and they all worked...

ALEMONKEY, Yes she does, she works for the same company I did. Believe it or not. She is a Foreman for a demolition company. That is how she bought my new Pedersoli for my Birthday..........:neener::D

Nice rifles, and what a sweetie for a wife!:D
Mine closely resembles your "Chambersburg" except it is a flinter. It originally came from Dixie Gun Works and was advertized simply as a "Pennsylvania" rifle manufactured by Pedersoli, and so marked.
Hope you get to do some shooting before ol' man winter really gets us in his teeth.
