is involved. If I'm not mistaken, he was a sergeant or officer with San Jose PD and got into trouble for speaking out against anti-gun Chief Robert McNamara. McNamara could as el jefe speak out against gun ownership but when Pyle did, he incurred the wrath of the department.

Well, given their position, these people have heart.

But Leroy threw me off his discussion list because I disagreed with him.
His heart is in the right place, but his head is somewhere else.

Gee Archie, we have something in common. I disagreed with him too, and all of a sudden I found I couldn't access the board anymore.
Considering the way he ran his board, I don't think I lost anything by being tossed.

Leroy and I got into it over an incident that happened in Arizona a few years back. Can't say that respect the guy at all.

I know Leroy as he is the training counselor I received my NRA instructor certification classes from.
I'm sorry to hear some have had a bad experience with him...
I personally find him to be a nice guy and still keep in touch with him once in awhile. He is also a true believer in our second amendment rights.
Probably among the most telling incidences, however, was when I ran into him at a couple shooting club related dinners. I brought my sister along, who is learning disabled, since I was her caretaker at the time. Over the years, I've noticed you can learn quite a bit about a persons character from how they interact with someone like my sister. I can say that Leroy is a very gracious person.
