What to shoot?

I just recently got a fully rifled Remington barrel for my 870. My question is, what kind of slugs can be shot out of it? Should I just use Sabots? Or, can I use plain old Winchester silver box?

Sabots are designed to be shot from rifled barrels, fosters (aka rifled slugs) are designed to be shot from smooth bores. I know it sounds oxymoronic, but thats the way it is.
You will likely get better accuracy from sabots, but people on here have reported similar accuracy from regular foster type slugs. To the best of my knowledge, your barrel will be safe to shoot any slug.

Sabots are likely to work better, though they usually cost more. Rifled slugs are likely to lead up your barrel pretty badly even if they do shoot with acceptable accuracy.
