I shot one a few years back and am getting the itch for a Clark Custom conversion kit. If you've got one do you like it/hate it/indifferent? Let me know about it. If I get it I plan to reload for the caliber so ammo availability isn't an issue.

I would like to try one some day, but I don't really see the need for it, except to be able to say to someone, "what is that, some puny 10mm?"

Yes, I have one, and I'm in the process of having a S&W 625 cylinder reamed out, so that I'll have a revolver in that caliber too. It's a great round for deer-hunting, with 230gr. JHP's getting over 1,300 fps. As a self-defence weapon, it's a bit much: 185gr. JHP's typically get over 1,500 fps from a 5" barrel! I guess it's best considered as being fully the equal of the .41 Magnum, and only a bit less than the .44 Magnum, as far as power/energy are concerned.

Just remember to use a considerably more powerful recoil spring when shooting it in a 1911-style auto! Also, your magazines may require a stronger spring in order to ensure reliable feeding.

I'm really looking forward to trying this in a revolver. A moon-clip equivalent to a .41 Magnum? What's not to like? :D
