Just got my Crimson Trace . Went to install it on my CZ Compact and with the side panels installed the top part where the laser is, is about 1/4inch from the frame. If I get the top part w/laser flush against the frame the grip panel is way off. Am I doing something wrong or are the grips faulty.

Keep trying. I had a CTC laser on a S&W M&Pc and it did the same thing until I got it "snapped" in just right.

I had a lot of difficulty installing the LG359 Lasergrips on my S&W 5906. I think the material of the grips needs to be worked a little to get them to fit flush with the frame, I very frustrating, but after several attempts I finally got mine to fit properly. Got the pleasure of doing it twice, as the first set of grips I got had a malfunction and worked intermittently. Thankfully Crimson Trace has a great customer service team, and they immediately sent out a new set, with a prepaid package to ship the first set back. Also sent extra batteries.
