Hey guys, I'm in the process of... shuffling my inventory. Can never decide what to keep and what to sell. Anyway, I sold a 20 gauge 870 because I have a 12 gauge, figured I didn't need 2 gauges. However, I'm thinking of picking up a maverick as my HD gun, pump still beats a SxS. Right now my insight light is taped to the barrel of my double, but I have an adapter for a remington and was wondering if this would fit a maverick somehow?

No, it will not work on a Mossberg.
How and where you mount it depends on how long the mag tube is.

Actually, yes it could. Quite easily, in fact. Just find yourself a washer that will fit the Mav takedown screw and that will also center into that Remington mount. The only prob is the hole in the mount is the wrong size for the Mav screw. Use that washer and it'll fit fine....and if you want, tack weld it in place. But you run into the prob of the Mav takedown screw working its way loose over time since the detent ball won't work with that mount attached. Some locktite would work. Cheap barrel attach rails are a dime a dozen, though. Almost not worth the trouble making that one fit.
