9mm ammo selection and moonclip questions

I'm in a bit of a pickle selecting ammo here. Maybe it's just a mental block, I don't know. But I have no idea what ammo to select for my Taurus 905 (9mm snub) for social situations. I haven't gotten to take it to the range yet, but I don't think I'm going to have ammo feeding problems. I'm hoping some of you folks who are more familiar with ballistics than I would be so kind as to recommend some loads and explain why.
Then there's the issue of moonclips. How do you carry a moonclip? With a .38, it was no issue. Speedstrips or speedloaders. But a moonclip? What the heck? Umm...help?

I have a S&W 940and I use Speer 124 gr gold dots, and I just drop the loaded clip in my pocket.

I have a 905 and found a situation that I thought was interesting although I doesn't involve "carry" ammo. Remington UMC 115 grain ball ammo will not work with the Taurus moonclips. The case is narrow enough at the extractor groove that the cartridges simply fall out of the clips. Other ammo, e.g. Winchester Silvertips, Winchester White Box (USA) works just fine. I have not tried Federal, or Cor-Bon, etc. yet. Just a word of caution, the clips may not work with all brands of 9mm, but I'm sure you'll find out as soon as you load some. I do not know how durable the little clips will prove to be, time will tell on that. Neat little revolver, though. I like mine. BTW, I found that the standard pressure Remingtons work just fine at the range without clips and turning the cylinder up with maybe a very small tap would unload all five spent casings with those standard pressure loads. I will probably often just not use the clips at the range to save wear and tear on them. They are pricey little buggers.

GoldDots 124 grs.
Used to use a belt clip horizontal sunglass case; held two moonies for the M940.
:D
