I know aimsurplus, classic arms, etc are the best places to buy rifles but I know nothing about handgun deals.

What's a good price on the FNP-40 (http://www.fnhusa.com/le/products/firearms/model.asp?fid=FNF019&gid=FNG001&mid=FNM0124) in dark earth and are there any good places to buy one online?

Thanks,

Budsgunshop has them for $550, which is what the FNPs usually go for.

wacki,

I would contact Red's Trading Post in Idaho. They may be able to do a better deal. I bought my Les Baer from them last year, best price anywhere.

I just received my FNP-45 USG from Red's and got it for $593.00 delivered. You can find FNP-45 decockers in the $525-550.00 price range, but all the other .45 USG's are over $600.00 plus shipping.

I thought the only variation w/ the FNP line was in colors and caliber. What's the difference between the below?

The USG models have a decocker/manual safety, all of the FNPs except the dark earth models are also available with decocker only, no manual safety.

Anyone know why there's a $150 price variance among pistols w/in the same caliber?

http://www.ableammo.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=9935_13105_13158

9mm pistols range from $450 to $622.

Thanks,

Check the FN site for the various models. USG is more expensive. Night sights are more expensive. Yadda, yadda, yadda.

I have and I notice these differences:

"Interchangeable arched and flat backstrap insert " - no idea what that is
Night sights
Manual Safety

I still don't get the price range. $450 to $622????? What justifies that. Are night sights really $172???
