I just purchased a Savage 111 witht the new accustock. I really liked how stiff the stock was and with the accutrigger, it seemed like a good choice. I took it to my local range with few of my favorite 243 coyote handloads. It is a Berger 70 grain bullet driven by 75 grains of IMR 4350. I just wanted to get it roughly sighted in to begin load development. After shooting it for the first time, I am thoroughly pumped. This gun is a tack driver!!! The first load out of this gun shot a 3 shot .317" group at 100 yards. I usually like to work up loads, but this one fell in my lap. I don't know how i can improve from here. I guess I'll just shoot it and forget about load development. Look out you wiley coyotes. You're toast!!!

He probably meant to hit the four and hit the seven instead. Let's hope so. 75 grains is one heck of a compressed load.

Before you call BS, try looking at his target with the load data. Was a typo on the 75gr;)

Great shooting!:)

You are correct. The load is 47 grains.

That is awesome. It is always great to find a good rifle/load so easy. It is good mojo for the rifle.

Have fun with that one,

Matt
