Back in the spring I bought a project gun, Israeli 7.62 Mauser, originally Belgian. It was in rough shape. Cracked stock (practically broke in two), pitted bore, extreme wear (Belgian crest almost gone). I decided I'd do a restoration on another and just built this one into a hunting rifle. I bought a barrel from Midway, and a Ramline cammo stock from Sportsman's Guide. I did all the work myself with a homemade barrel vice and action wrench. The bolt turn down was done by a guy in Missouri that advertizes on E-bay. A little duracoat, a 10x scope and The "Ziva" project was complete.
