is selling the marlin 795 for 110 bucks, plus a 20 dollar mail in rebate; that will be less than 100 bucks total , for a darn fine, 22lr semi auto shooter!!!
jump on it, if you don't have one!!!!

Very true! Considered it myself, but found a 19-shot w/LSHO which is apparently rare. Now if I could just get it running...

If that was a wood one, I would jump on it.

Love my 795. Threw on techsights and have recently heard of filling the stock with spray foam to add a litte weight and balance. It's my Appleseed/ plinking rifle. Now if only Academy was near me.

Looks like the Papoose action in a blued finish, which happens to be a great action.

$90, how can you beat that for a new gun?

you can't plus I also like the schnabel-ish styled forend, very thin.
Lots of dudes add all kinds of things to the back, to get it heavier in the rear,
but I like them superlight, just the way they are.

I got the last one at my Academy. Merry Christmas to me ...it is a nice gun.

Dick's in Austin (OK, Bee Cave) has a nice Savage 10-rd mag-fed bolt action w/ Bushnell 3-9x40 and tigerstriped wood for $200. Sorely tempted...
