Research help...
In this thread (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=574729#post574729) on another forum, someone was claiming that immediately following the advent of the CCW law in Texas, that there was a rash of bank robberies committed by several new Texas CCW permittees.

Is this true?

Texas Department of Public Safety would probably have information on it, but it makes absolutely NO sense.

Why would someone obtain a Texas CCW, considerable time money involved, just to start robbing banks.

It strikes me as completely bogus.

Here's a little chart from the DPS...

God bless Texas for picking this information!

The fact is that if there were 19 bank robberies, they would be listed under the "robberies" section of the chart and there are -- ZERO -- Count 'em --- ZERO.
