1911 Holster Question

I'm looking for a pancake/paddle style holster for a 5" 1911 in a full coverage style with retention strap. The problem I have been running into is that the holster makers seem to either make the retention strap only fit with hammer down, or the hammer cocked. Not both. From what I have seen, if they would just make the retention strap a little narrower, it would work in both conditions. I really like the Galco Fletch and FED paddle designs, but again with both of these the retention strap only works in the cocked and locked configuration. I am well aware of the 1911 cocked and locked philosophy and agree with it, however not all cold ranges are okay with an unloaded 1911 that is cocked and locked, and require the hammer down. So my question is, does anyone know of a 1911 holster with a retention strap that can be used in both the cocked and hammer down position.

Thanks guys, your help is appreciated.

You will want a Safariland with a hood. Or perhaps a G-Code SOC rig...
I like them both.
Oh wait, this is for concealment? Galco makes a nice pancake that I used to carry a SIG P220 in. Worked great. They make them for 1911's too, and they work just as good.
