I am trying to find the value of a winchester 1897 trench gun(I think) it does not say winchester anywhere on it. It has a 20" barrel, heatsheild, bayonet lug(w/ m17) and the exploding bomb stamp w/ us underneith it. Other markings include billerica, ICA and mil4775 (this is also the last 4 of the serial number) 0304775 is the serial. I don't think its an ordance wepon but I have no idea as to the year or anything. How much is this worth???

Its not mine it is a friend and I could be a (bad word) and say its worth about 100 bucks and buy it but that's wrong lol.... 7.62, it looks just like that and the problem is I can't find much on the markings and stamps. I've found some that go for up to 15,000 and as little as 150.

When the deal for EMF to import the Chinese 1897 replicas fell through, Norinco jumped back into the market and the trench gun is one of the replicas they produce.

I agree it's a Norenco/IAC import.

Whatever it is, it's not a Winchester 97 unless it says Winchester on it.

They never made one that didn't have thier name on it.
