I'm looking for a frame for a Smith & Wesson Model-10.
Anyone know where I can find one?
Thanks

where I can find one

With extreme difficulty.
Revolver frames are usually either assembled into a gun, or the frame is un-serviceable, which is usually why its for sale to start with.

Maybe I can save you some money and a lot of grief.
Assuming you have a "parts kit" of revolver parts and want to assemble a working revolver from it or you have a damaged gun and want to switch parts to a different frame..... doesn't work.

First, you have to have the same version or "Dash number" of parts as the frame.
Second, key parts like the cylinder assembly and barrel are individually fitted at the factory and they seldom fit a different frame.
Since these parts were trimmed to fit one frame, they;re usually too undersized to fit a different frame.

In order to assemble a working revolver, you'd need either brand new unfitted parts like the ejector or you'd need a bin full of parts so you could test fit parts until you got a part to fit and function.

Also, unlike automatics where most parts can drop in, revolvers require a lot of fitting and adjusting that requires some expensive tooling and gages.
Just to start you'd need a special barrel vise, a special action wrench, a lathe to fit the barrel, a lathe or precision surface grinder to fit a factory-new extractor, a tool to cut the barrel/cylinder gap, and another to re-cut the forcing cone, special gages, etc.

Bottom line: Revolvers are very "old school" and don't just fit together. The tools cost a lot of money, and often used parts simply won't work at all.
Last, too many frames you do find for sale are defective in some way which is not readily apparent, and is why they're being sold.

+1 on that, but another angle might be to ask what happened to the original frame. Do you have a Model 10 with a defective frame? If so, there other possibilities than trying to buy a new frame.

Go onto 'Gunbroker', or shop around locally for older Police or Security Guns traded in...get an older Model 10...remove what you don't need.

Easy...fast...and relatively inexpensive.

Why do you want/need a 'Frame'?

I have a parts set with everything except the frame and I'd like to make it a working firearm.

See Post #2.
That says it all right there.

Revolver "parts Kits" are from some buy-back program or police evidence room.

The frames were distroyed.

If you do somehow find a frame, there is very likely something wrong with it or it would still be a working gun.
