I am wanting to sell a Walther PPK 380 German made...1966. It's going have more value than the post 1968 imports...I don't know how much. Can anyone give me a pretty accurate value of of this gun? I have Nill grips on it, but the orginals come with it also.

I saw a couple on gunbroker. One sold for $900, the other, which looked unfired and had the box, paperwork and all the frills, went for about 1600. I think the 900 was closer to reality.

.380's are the most common, and the most desireable of the pre-68 real German post war PPK. Without the box, I'd guess anything over $800 would be reality. Do not be discouraged if you dont get $900 or higher. They go for a bit less in Ohio, as we have a lot of guys selling, bying, and swapping guns here. In another part of the country, there may not be as many. I'd use Gunbroker ot get optimum money for it. Just as some have seen them go high, I have seen them go for %700-$800 on gunbroker.

While your pistol says "Made in W. Germany" it was actually made in France, shipped to W. Germany for stamping and blueing.

I have all the paper work...box and cleaning tool. I was hoping for a grand.

The Nill grips alone are worth a hundred bucks. You should probably get your $1000, but more than likely only from a collector. I doubt a shooter will pay it. Beautiful pistol, good luck with the sale.

List it on one of the auction sites and hope that two interested parties will get involved in some sort of bidding war; that should guarantee you a grand, and perhaps a bunch more. It's a fine-looking Walther, and the Nill grips, as has been pointed out here, increases the value ... and the overall interest in the gun as well.
Good luck.
