Schuey 2002, does the Keith's at Gresham have the new HK in stock yet? And what is the price?
I handled one in Eugene this afternoon. The overall feel is better than what I anticipated. It is thinner than the USP Compact and lighter. The dimensions are very similar or perhaps a little smaller. The grip is quite comfortable, also accepts the compact's magazines. The whopping price tag is $899.
Had I not already have the QA, I might consider this - if the price comes down a little. The only thing I notice, from a picture of 2002 IWA, there was a tab at the back of the slide works as a decocker; the one I handled today is a DAO doesn't have this feature. The trigger pull is heavier than the QA, will take a little time to get used to.
