Tight Barrel Rem 870 SupMag

I've a Rem 870 Super Mag with a barrel that's really tight to remove. Going back in, it's pretty stiff, too. It hasn't been fired, but is a year old. Bought it for turkeys last year and didn't go out. It was cleaned and oiled and stored since.

Any ideas?

Did you follow the directions in the manual on what to do before firing?

My guess is there's still some preservative on the parts.

Relube, following the directions, then see what happens...
