I recently inherited a beautiful Winchester Model 52B .22 LR Target Rifle. It came complete with a 20x Unertl target scope. The complete package is truly a dream to shoot. I never knew that 200 yards was possible with .22 lr with any sort of consistency. However, this is my problem. The original sights were removed for the installation of the scope. They were not given to me, nor do I know where they could possibly be located.

Does anyone know where I could pick up a set of peep sights for this model? I believe they used Lyman's but I am not positive. Just curious. I figured this would be the place to ask. Thanks guys.

I can trade you some peep sights for the 20x!!!!!

Really - great rifle - you have a great setup.

Peep sights sell on ebay - but also check out Rimfire Central (http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/vbclassified.php) as they appear pretty regularly -

CMP has used ones available but you have to be a member -

For some history on the 52 and what were the correct sights for your 52B start here:

52's are great - enjoy it.

Thanks for the info! I have learned that the scope is far more valuable than the rifle. weird. I will check out the web sites for the sights. Thanks and straight shooting!
