I have not seen Terminator 3 yet. What guns are featured in this movie?

A 1919 is featured in one big shootout (coffin scene), a UMP in another, I forget the rest.

There are some MP5s, an RPG, and a glock 18. There was also a shotgun, but I didn't pay a lot of attention to the make.
(BTW- I was really surprised with the movie-better than I thought it would be!)

Glock 18??? Wow, this gun is getting kind of popular as it got some good screen time in Matrix 2 as well. How is the Glock 18 screen time in T3?

slightly OT I guess but anyways...
in the matrix 2 it almost looked to me like the G18 had ports on the top of the slide- is there a G18c or is there not a compensated model(though I could be wrong....)?

Most , if not all, G18s are actually G18c. They have a cutout in the rear of the slide (weight saver) as well as a cuts in the front for the ports.
Ok, now back to the Terminator's G18. Can anyone comment on the screen time this gun is given?

towards the end, connor empties at least two 33 rd mags from the g18.
there were a couple other glocks in there. iirc a g21, and at least one more.

I believe Connor uses a underfolder AKM in one scene, and they carry around the same (I think) AK and later the woman empties a few rounds out of it. Arnie uses a G36 for a little bit too as well as a RPG. Arnie had a nice full stocked, extended tube "tactical" shotgun of some kind toward the beginning, I'm not up on pump shotgun differences so I couldn't really tell what type. I seem to remember them loading up a lot of weapons that I don't think they used too. I seem to recall Arnie weilding a multiple shot grenade launcher which may or may not have been real against the TX as well, several shots. There was some minigun action from the T1s or whatever they were called, woefully slow rate of fire though (the 1919 seemed faster), fake, minigun action was done better in the 2nd movie...
It's a good movie, certainly could have been worse. Didn't have that classic feel that the first two did though, this one felt more generic and somehow not as large in scope, maybe that's just me. Certainly a world class chase scene although the remote piloted stuff was pretty lame seeing as how their workings were mechanical, not electrical or computer controlled, would not have worked...

I bet you those damn Glocks would have been another neat 1911 if Cameron had directed.

I got the T3 DVD today. Decent movie. I need to watch it a couple more times.
Anyways, I got a good look at the Glock as they were riding along in the camper and it was sitting on the table. I don't think that Glock is a G18. There were no cutouts in the slide, and no full auto/semi auto toggle switch on the left of the slide. I think the shooting of that gun was all done in special effects.
Still, I am happy to see a Glock come out in T3.

I just saw this tonight. I hated it! Did George Lucas write this one?
Otherwise, the Glock 18 didn't look like it had a long enough barrel. It looked like one of the mid sized models. Probably just a modded Model 17 prop gun.
At least the Terminatrix chic was indeed nice to look at. Otherwise the DVD would have been ejected after the first chase scene with the crane truck...

Isnt the glock 18 just a very slightly modufied full auto glock 17? I mean shouldnt they be exactly the same size?

No, I felt *exactly* the same. After hearing that Cameron wasn't directing and reading up on it some beforehand, not to mention watching the trailors, I figured it wouldn't be as good. Somehow, I still felt let down afterward. Oh well, we still have a very solid action movie in T2.

A Glock 18 is exactly the same size as a Glock 17 (fullsize). The Glock in T3 was not a G18 becuse it had no cutouts in the slide and it lacked the fullauto toggle switch on the left side of the slide.
The movie wasn't too bad for me. Had alot of action and alot of guns, I liked the chase scene.
T3 is definatly different from T1 or T2, but when T2 came out I felt exactly the same way about T2 being too different from T1. Just took time for me to get used to the movie.
