How do I copy an entire post or just quote a particular sentence, then reply?

Copy the text you need to quote, press the "Post reply" button, then press the "Quote" button on the reply page, paste the text into the little window that pops up, press Ok on the window. You can also copy and paste the text into the editing window and surround it with the [ quote][ /quote] tags (without the spaces I included so the tags will show up here).

Do it like this:
<quote>This is quoted text</quote>
Replace the < > marks with [ ] marks and you get:
This is quoted text
There's a link at the bottom of your reply screen that will open a new window with an explanation of all the UBB codes.

Also, if all you want to do is indent some text (without the two horiz. lines or the "quote:" preface), you can use [blockquote] rather than [quote].
[blockquote] maps directly to the html <blockquote> without anything extra.
[quote] maps to <blockquote>quote:<hr>(text between the opening and closing quote tags)<hr></blockquote>
