If you have one of these screwed into barrel will it reduce recoil and will the scope sights have to be readjusted?

Uncle Mike, I thought a muzzle brake just redirected exhaust gas after the bullet leaves the barrel. I would expect poi to be the same, unless you had to cut the barrel to install it. Same with a flash suppressor/hider/compensator. What am I missing on this?

A brake does change the flow of gas after it leaves the muzzle. Some of that gas may reflect back off the brake and influence the bullet. You've also hung a weight off the end of the barrel which can change the way barrel responds to being fired. BSW
Same rifle, 3 different muzzle devices:

Basically, anything you do to a rifle except, perhaps, for changing the recoil pad, changes POI.:)
The same goes for the load you shoot in it.

Sight in your rifle when the weather changes, when you sneeze, after a local election...
