The High Road is the finest Internet forum of its type, as far as I am concerned. It is well presented, well moderated, and highly informative. Having said that, the moderators just closed down a thread on the discussion of the attack on USS Liberty. While I believe that the issue of the attack and subsequent cover-up directly impinge the civil liberties of all Americans, I can’t argue that this decision was in any way unreasonable. It was an honest judgment call.

If I may, without transgressing any forum rules, I’d like to suggest that anyone wishing to continue this discussion do so on a new site dedicated to this single issue: http://usslibertyinquiry.com. It is not yet complete, but already it contains a great deal of original source evidence and a discussion forum for USS Liberty related issues only.

Thanks for your understanding. I agree that is has a relation to civil liberties, but the question is, how close? As such, I closed it, but I encourage the discussion continuing elsewhere. I'll set this to float for a while so that it stays up, and anyone wanting to continue the discussion can see the link.
