I noticed on the Montana Gold website (https://secure3.mooseweb.com/montanagoldbullet.com/pricelist.tpl) that there is the is this description on the .38 JHP's: "125gr JHP NOW YELLOW NOT PINK". :what:
I googled but couldn't find anything on this feature change. Does anyone have pictures of these before the change to yellow???
I read once upon a time that MG, Rem Golden Sabres and other "golden" bullets use a higher percentage of zinc in their allows to create a golden color rather than a brass/copper color. Did they have a bad batch of copper with too much zinc or the bullets simply oxidize? This intrigues me, if no one knows I might call them next week to find out.
