I want a shooter Mauser. Don't care about looks or where it came from just as long as it shoots well.

Mitchell's Mausers has some nice looking rifles BUT they have a bad rep.

Where can I find a good shooter?

Thanks

Here's a nice specimen (http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/Czechoslavakian_vz._24_8mm_Mauser_Rifle.html) among the surplus Mausers' available these days.

Reputable vendor too.

Classic Arms is good vendor as well.
I have a Yugo 24/47 from them. Very clean, very accurate.
They have some about halfway down the page:

+1 to the aim surplus Mauser. Mine shot 2 MOA with the iron sights. Unfortunately it met an untimely end when I loaned it to my grandpa and he left it in a gun rack outside for a few weeks. Completely pitted the bore.
