Browning (FN) Models 1910 and 1922 were used by the Germans during WWII.

Didn't some Lugers come with grip safeties?

Some did, but Lugers do not have hammers, internal or otherwise.

It says Dutshce Werke on the slide on the other side, and has a crown and a capitol N on the frame.

Deutsche Werke made the Ortgies pistols. Look for info on that.

But they were striker fired, no hammer at all. As are Browning 1910-1922.

Sounds like an Ortgies then.

The Ortgies was never a German military issue gun.
It was quite common to find them used by German solders though.

Pics not showing up for me, either.

If the pistol was made by Deutsche Werke it probably is an Ortgies, not an FN.

Edited add: damn! rcmodel beat me to it :)
