When there is a post by a new forumer and it involves either owning or buying a Hi-Point, Jennings, Raven, or Bryco?

I just get the sneaking suspicion that about 1/3 of them are brady bunch forum thuggery.

Doesn't worry me at all. Such a person may own a substandard gun, but at least THEY OWN A GUN. This puts them on our side. Then you have the fact that they come to this forum, read posts and post questions, and thereby get educated. Next thing you know, they are upgrading their hardware, and maybe telling other people to do the same.
Nope, doesn't worry me in the least.

No.

If they intend to practice their shooting as they should, they will probably begin to want a higher-quality firearm.

If they ask for my opinion on a particular brand, they will get it - but I won't shove it down their throat, unsolicited.

TD :D

Agree with most. Everyone started somewhere. It is a lifelong journey for many of us. And it begins with the first step.

No not, really. I started w/ a POS semi auto for my first handgun. I quickly sold it & turned it into my P7M8. We hopefully learn from our mistakes & improve from what we've learned.

No. Lots of people can't afford expensive guns, and lots of people who can afford them still buy inexpensive guns.

Personally, I'd rather have expensive guns than an expensive house, but if I were married...

Doesn't bother me not one bit. What they own is their choice and their business. If you think you can look down at someone for what they own, someone else can do the same to you.

When I had my FFL I sold a LOT of Ravens & Jennings even a few Brycos.
I consider them to be the modern day equal of the old Iver Johnson & H&R breaktop revolvers.

A little old lady on a fixed income deserves something to defend her life as much as anyone else.

When I worked in someone else's shop they sold a few HiPoints and Lorcins. They sold so well, in fact, that we sold many of them several times.

Not everyone knows the joys of Comblock weapons, so - they get cheap American guns. But then again, if everyone knew the joys of Comblock weapons, I guess the price would go up, too.

I just get the sneaking suspicion that about 1/3 of them are brady bunch forum thuggery. I thought that's the direction you were going.
Look at it this way. As long as they post by the rules,,,,,even a booger eater like Josh Sugarman is free to post here.

Not in the least!! :D

If a High Point, I resolve to convince them to bury or safely dispose of it as soon as they evolve to a higher life form that can afford a more technically advanced firearm!! :neener:

With a Hi-Point NO!
With a Bryco or Jennings i would hope they could be convinced to get something thats better quality.
