I don't see what would keep a civilian from owning one, except for price.

There is no (federal) law that would prevent you from owning one. Not sure if it's sold to civilians but it wouldn't be illegal to do so. It would probably be cost prohibitive, although I am unaware of your financial situation.

Although my long-suffering M1A + Sage stock project is finally back on track after I played the game. No hearbeat monitor though.

I'd say the price will be slightly upwards of $10k. But if they want to sell it to you, I don't see why it wouldn't be possible.

after playing that game for so long i honestly thought about throwing a scope on my Imbel FAL, could'nt afford the time and money though

The M200 is chambered in .408 and .375, and last time I checked the whole deployment kit was somewhere around $13G. That was the rifle, suppressor, bi pod, hand held weather station and ballistics computer. Not sure if they are still offering that package to the general public or not. I'd love to have one, but even reloading for it would be very expensive.

Save your money and buy it from the company that built the original.

The EDM is a fine rifle, I find the lines of the M200 to be more appealing. But seeing how I have the money for neither it is a moot point.
