Better is a subjective item - they are built differently than the standard Citori; whether that is an "improvement" would be up to each individual shooter. If you get a chance, try to shoot one to see how you like it. many folks seem to compare the fit to a Beretta 68X series

If you like balance and fit of something like a Beretta, SKB, Perazzi, the Cynergy is in the same ballpark. If you love the Citori, the Cynergy probably won't excite you. I can't stand the Citori, and I like the way the Cynergy feels. I am not overly excited by it, though, and would just as soon buy a proven design with similar fit, and a better 'feel' to it (that's subjective, of course). But if I had to shoot a Browning, I'd shoot the Cynergy.
The Cynergy's MSRPs are ridiculous, and the far lower actual retail prices are showing that buyers agree. They can be had at some pretty good prices, despite what Browning claims the prices are.:) That makes them worth a look.

I prefer them to the Citori models, but I also like the balance and fit of something like a Beretta or SKB. I've never shot a Perazzi, though. My next O/U is going to be an SKB. I picked up my Cynergy for a lot less than retail and got all the Cynergy club stuff. Changing the ejectors to extractors is a cinch, and I like the fact that I can adjust the stiffness of the action.

I have shot a Red Label and a Beretta Onyx.I preferred the Onyx over it.I have handled a Citori It pointed well but was heavier pulling it up.Id just like a good reliable gun that would last say 100K rounds.

I think so. I like the balance better which is why I bought one. In my shooting bunch we all shoot Cynergy's. My shooting buddy and I bought ours the same day and are one serial number apart. We went for shorter barrels for hunting but most folks go with 28's around here.
Great guns, no problems so far!

Love mine in 12ga. Sold my 686 in 12 because I like the cynergy so much.
I don't care for the way the 20 fit me, so I sold it and kept my 686 in 20ga.
Both of mine were used and about $1000. Great gun for that price if it fits you.
