Leupold Prismatic - Which gun to put it on.

Came up with one of these used today (very nice!) - Which one of these would you put it on:
1. IMI Timberwolf .357 Mag pump - girlfriend's home defense and fun range gun.
2. NEF Excel Auto 5, 22" smoothbore, 12 ga. semi - dedicated turkey gun.
3. Marlin 1895, .45-70
4. Remington 1187 Sportsman's deer, 21" rifled bbl, 12 ga semi - walking pig and zombie gun
5. Robinson XCR, 5.56x45mm - SHTF gun
6. Norinco Mak 90, 7.62x39, on ultimak rail
?? Thanks! :)
I'm leaning toward #2 right now heavily, but #1, #6, and #4 also have some pretty strong appeal.

I'll give this thread a bump, Dr., and also fully explain my reasoning for choosing the XCR. The Leupold Prismatic system is a very highly engineered red-dot style of optic. I am obviously not familiar with your girlfriend's level of training, but in a high-stress scenario like a home invasion, she may unconciously close her non-dominant eye when using the optic. I think you will agree that in such a scenario, both eyes should be open to ensure full situational awareness.
The same with your dedicated turkey gun. I can understand where a more precise aiming ability could come in handy (I hunted turkey in my younger years) but the Leupold's complex reticle (I believe it is a set of crosshairs in a circle, no?) could become more of a hindrance than a help.
The scope is a bit weighty; it may degrade handling on the Norinco.
It very nearly fits the bill for the XCR. Personally, I prefer a variable optic on my duty weapons, 1-4 power, usually, but a flip-to-side magnifier may work with the Leupold. I am not certain.
It is, ultimately, your choice though...I am merely giving you the benefit of my experience.

I know this is not the question the OP asked, but I think it is worth considering.
I came very close to buying a Leupold Prismatic sight that is until I discovered that it weighs close to 16oz. I am very sensitive about the weight of my rifles unless they are dedicated target rifles.
Instead, I bought an Aimpoint H1 that weighs less than 4oz with mount. Before I would use the prismatic sight I would use a good 1-4X scope. It offers more for equal or less weight and $.
With the exception of Aimpoint and maybe Eotech, I am skeptical of using optics on a defensive weapon. Most fog up in cold weather or upon leaving an air conditioned home or auto.

Take this with a grain of salt because I don't even like a red-dot style optic (I like apertures or magnification and don't like batteries)...but my vote is for the 12ga. smoothbore due to relatively short range use.
