Ok, since its the unwritten rule of THR/TFL that every member create a thread about SHTF/TEOTWAWKI, I am only fulfilling that obligation.:p ;)

There is a movie called "The Day After Tomorrow" (www.thedayaftertomorrow.com)* that has some spectacular effects, and looks like the scenario that some of us plan for (and it wipes NYC off the map too, not a bad start:neener: ).

So, is this truely what we have all been planning for?:D :uhoh: :scrutiny:

It's TEOTWAWKI ... and I feel fine. But not about this movie. It looks like most Hollywood - big budget, big effects, big hype, but no story and no substance. I could be wrong.

At last it provides more fuel for our paranoia - now everyone's going to go out and buy more spam and powdered milk.

And I don't think the ice age came about as a result of "one storm".
