...finds an acorn once in a while.

Wandering around the biggest gun shop in my area today. Its a madhouse, since whitetail season opens on Saturday, but I thought I'd look anyway. I spied what looked like a new Sauer 202 on the used rack.It was marked used, and when I took it to the counter the gunsmith (who I know) was there and said: "I know the guy who owned that - its never been shot".

Sig Sauer Supreme 202 in 6.5 x 55 and brand new. Box, papers etc.

$875

To think I almost spent $800 on a used Sako that I was looking at right before this. It would have been a great gun, too - but I've ALWAYS wanted a 202 and love the idea of adding barrels in the future to get more use out of it.

How'd I do? ;)

yow.

It's nice to be in the right place at the right time when that acorn falls.

Rabbit.
