I'm trying to find out what the most accurate for the money plinking round is for an H-Bar Colt. I am not looking for match accuracy, just a good target round. I have heard that 62gr is what I should be using and to stay away from the 55gr....any truth to this?

There is nothing wrong with using 55gr ammunition in a 1/7 twist barrel. I'd recommend Winchester Q3131A.

If all you want is a plinking round, you can't beat Wolf.

Before somebody else wastes their time posting it; yes it is a steel case and yes it may wear out your extractor faster than brass.
