Why am I unable to edit my threads?

For some reason I am unable to edit my threads, the "edit" button is not there. I am logged in. Why is this?

ETA: after creating this thread I noticed that I can edit it, but still can't edit older ones. I have a for sale that's less than a week old that i would like edit and can't.

You can edit posts for a total of 4 days. That is true in all forums including the Trading Post forums. If you need to edit a Trading Post thread, the usual procedure is to add a new post with the pertinent change. Members will read the posts if they are interested in the item.
