I am the host of a weekly podcast called the "Personal Armament Podcast". The podcast is a personal, non-commercial venture meant to provide an informative and entertaining show for those folks commonly referred to as gun nuts. I started the podcast with our first show on December 29, 2009 and after the second week, we have already had an amazing response.

In this week's podcast I interview professional shotgun exhibition shooter, Patrick Flanigan, and we discuss everything from how to get young people involved in shooting to training mindset. I also cover some of the top selling firearms of '09 and the most popular trophy taking calibers according to Boone and Crockett.

I realize that this is shameless self-promotion, but everyone's gotta start somewhere. I hope you will take a few minutes to check out the show.

I listened to it yesterday, and I kinda liked it ! The part about the best 2009 sales was pretty interesting, and the Patrick Flanigan interview well conducted !

I like the fact that it wasnt interrupted by a commercial every 5 minutes !

Keep up the good work ! I'll listen to it again !

We are no longer new, but hopefully we still fit the "exciting" bill. In it's short tenure, the show has been downloaded over 7300 times. Special thanks to all those that listen and contribute each week with suggestions, comments, etc.

We have moved to a shorter show format(~30min) that is released 2xs per week(Tuesday and Friday morning). Each show is themed and has an interview. Thus far, I have interviewed gunsmiths, trainers, manufacturers, and professional shooters. If you haven't already, please check it out.
