parts interchangeability on winchester shotguns

A friend of mine has a winchester defender, with at broken forearm/actionbar(dont know the proper word, its the arms that connect the forearm and the bolt)
A have been offered a worn winchester 1300 without barrel, that we can take all parts off. will parts from the 1300 fit the defender? only difference i see is the longer magazine on the defender.

The Defender is simply a version of the Model 1300.
Most parts interchange.

thanks, since we live in norway, and many companies dont wanna send parts out of the US, picking parts off the gun without barrel seems like the easiest solution..
are the action-bars on the defender of the same length as the ones on a 1300 with the normal length magazine tube?
