I'm just wondering?

How many guys buy a Dillon 650 just to do rifle ammo. Most of the time when I see those presses mentioned they are being used for hand gun ammo.

I would not purchase a Dillon if I was only loading rifle ammo unless I was loading tons of rifle ammo, I mean tons. I would use a Forster Coax for loading precision rifle ammo, in fact the Forester coax is what I use and have been very happy with it's workmanship.

For just rifle ammo, I would feel the Dillon 550B would be a much more versatile press especially if you load longer cases such as a 270 Win or 7mm RM. The 650 will only load shorter rifle cases like the 223 or 308. I load quite a few different rifle calibers and I'm certainly pleased with my 550B. YMMV!

I load shortline ammo on a 550. My 650 does .45ACP. Other presses for other ammo.

I would say very few people bought one with the sole intention of reloading strictly rifle ammo.

Personally I got it to do 9,357,45 and 223 (in theory).

In practise I don't use it for 223 even though I have all the accessories required.

I use 2 T7s and a co-ax for all my rifle reloading.

I do 223 REM on my 550B. My two 650's are designated 1 x 45ACP and 1 x 9mm.

All my other rifle gets done the way I have always done, single stage.
