Strategy and Tactics suggestion

Looking through the S&T forum, it seems "How do I secure my house?" is one of the most often repeated questions. I've often found 2-4 variations on this same theme on the first page. Obviously this tends to clutter things a bit, but I don't think an outright ban on the question ala SHTF scenarios is a good idea either.

Would it make sense to have a "How to secure your house" clearinghouse thread stickied? All the ideas that get repeated over and over consolidated into one place. If someone wants to ask a question they can do it there and not clutter the forum w/ the fifth post of the day asking about what kind of deadbolt to get.

It's a really good idea, and it's been in the back of my mind as something worth doing. Make you a deal- if you'll start writing it, or collecting it by C&P (cut and paste) from existing threads, I'll sticky it... :D . I had considered organizing it by rough category- fences, dogs, lights, alarms, locks etc. fwiw.

I haven't even managed to get every state covered in the list of training facilities/instructors yet... I don't want to take on another personal project till I get closer to done with the one I already started. And that one has turned out to be a bear...
