I have been looking at this gun @ CDNN. Looks like a good deal for $339. Have you shot it yet? Can you write a range report? How wide is the slide? I'd love to hear more about it. Thanks
It is a Tanfoglio, but assembled in the Czech Republic. It is exactly the same as the pre-2005 EAA Witness poly. The conversions for the Witness are supposed to work on these, though I have not had a chance to try one yet. The trigger was a little gritty, but after I stripped it down and buffed the internal moving parts, then dry-fired it a bunch, it is really smooth now. I have fired about 700 rounds through it and it has been flawless! Anything from cheap Walmart ammo, to premium high dollar JHP's, to nasty looking reloads, it has eaten it all!
It is way more accurate than I am, though I am getting better. I have added a recoil buffer and I can feel the difference. Not as much slamming going on. It is easy to point and not as top heavy as some other poly's I have held. The CZ platform is a solid one with it's low axis of force.
It is my EDC gun. I carry it in a HBE Leatherworks IWB holster and belt. I got it from CDNN for $299.
