the ones that are proud of the scratches and dings

Looks worse in person. Mucho holster wear as ex-cop gun. But slick and reliable.

Lots of scratches and rub marks but I paid $100 for it.

$195 and I wouldn't dream of refinishing it.

Looks like hell, but for $200 it will get the job done.

Poorly refinished and the hammer tip broken off, but 4" pre-war HDs are supposed to number less than 100 and how many had hump-back hammers?

Ive shown it before, but not since Ive bobbed the hammer and "refinished' it via dremel.

My RG-40
(the broken grips and the dent in the barrel shroud are recent, it took a hard fall on tile, bit came out better than I expected. I think it adds to the look actually :) )

I'm very surprised no Glocks have shown up yet. :)

Wow, an actual Liberator. The thought of firing one of those scares me (in terms of safety)

Brand new, im sure it would have been perfectly fine for one, maybe even 3 or 4 rounds (I think it came with 6 or so as dropped into occupied countries?). The whole idea was to use it once to cap a german/italian/japanese soldier and get a more effective weapon.

I wonder though, if it were me, would I really drop the .45 cal gun for an 8mm Nambu? Hmm.

RB, wasn't there electrical taped holding your grips together last time you posted your Rohm? I know I can't be mistaking it for a different revolver with that custom cylinder latch and all.

Good God Hawk, fix that CA!! I have one that was in that condition, $13 later and a Perma Blu kit... well... it is still ugly but uniformly!!

You are correct, I did have electrical tape on the grips, but it wasn't so much to hold it together as to keep the custom "tyler-T style" grip attachment I made in place. I figured out that the attachment made me grip the gun weird, and when I would bring it up to eye level it was always pointing slightly left (or right? I forget.) of where it should be, so I ditched it.

Sorry about the size I tried to resize it on photobucket but it still comes out huge. I must be doing something wrong.

(OpelBlitz) I'm very surprised no Glocks have shown up yet.

Here you go: A G27. After 12 years of daily carry it is just starting to get some shiny lines on the corners & a spot at the rear of the slide.

These two Smith & Wessons have some high mileage. A 19-3 on the left and a 28-2 both old duty guns.

Cmon bwSmith, you know full well those two revolvers (hell, even the glock) aren't what most would call 'ugly".

They don't even look all too "used" as I would define it.

:)

They must be ugly. Nobody else at work wanted them for $75. ;) The insides were uglier. A lot of the parts are now new and the 28's barrel is a few turns shorter than it was the first time it left Springfield. I won't even mention the grips....

As for the Glock, I thought it was a request  or at least a observation that they are not the prettiest design ever made.

It is a 1906 H&R .22rf.

This one is my worst worn auto:

They may be "ugly" they may be "plastic but my first gen G-27 fits my hand better than any other gun I've owned . It shoots first time every time, and all the time(NEVER has jammed).
This gun is my first choice to use to defend my wife ,daughter and my self

I feel like Jay Leno. It's a joke people. I carry a Glock daily, it didn't get that wear in the safe. They weren't made to be pretty just to shoot well.
