I have a few questions about the Ruger KAC556F:
1. Is it still in production (not that one can get a post ban one)?
2. How reliable is it?
3. How collectable is it compared to say a S&W 76?
4. How does it compare to other machine guns?
5. What armed forces uses or has used this gun?
Please give me any other helpful info.
Thanks!

US State Department: Around 500 guns for embassy security (No Full-auto, only burst and semi)
Bermuda Regiment: 500 Rifles.
French National Police: Aprox. 2500.
Is it still in production? As far as I know.
Reliable? As much so as any Ruger Mini-14. With Ruger magazines, that has been 100% for me.
Collectible? If you can get a transferrable one they are very collectible.
SW76? It's in a different class. They are both good guns.
Comparrison to other MG's? I would have to say that it is fine for police, guard duty, civilian use, etc. I'd stop short of saying it's good for Military use though. It is not as durable as most military arms. It's lightweight and ergonomic though.
