I am now the proud owner of a Mauser M1904 8mm. I do not know a lot of the history of the weapon. From what I have found is that it is a portagies (sp?? ) made that was converted from 7.6mm to 8mm in 1939-1940. Anyone here know anything else about them. This is my first rifle. How do they shoot, etc, etc, I got the weapon because I couldnt take my eyes off it at the gun shop. The stock is in good shape and the weapon is still very nice to look at:D
