I just got a Bul Cherokee Compact, What a great surprise, this gun fits your hand great, also shoots great, put 150 round through this week with no problems. My wife has a little trouble racking the slide. But what a great gun for the price. :)

Bul makes good pistols. I have an older charles daly dda which is a bul impact 45acp. The gun has a very good trigger and is very accurate. The only thing is it recoils pretty strongly compared to my ruger p97 and kimber custom. Mark

Railroader,
Thanks for your reply, Do you know if there are any range reports on this gun?

Did you do a search here buluser? I seem to recall a post a while back about the Cherokee. It looked like a really neat pistol. I was kinda interested but I have never seen one around here.
I was bored so I did a little digging for you http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=495715&highlight=cherokee
I think there is more if you dig around.

I purchased the full size BUL Cherokee 3 weeks back and have put 100 rounds throught it last weekend . I absolutely love the way it feels in my hand, the way it shoots, and the accuracy right out of the box is superb.. the best part of the whole thing is the pistol only had a sticker price of $449.00, try getting a quality handgun these days for that kind of price...
The Bul Cherokee also breaks down for cleaning very easily which is always a plus in any handgun choice. Overall a very well made pistol, would you expect anything less from an Israeli made gun ??

I posted in the other Bul Cherokee compact thread. I now have a total of about 1500 rounds through mine, and I love it. No problems at all. I am considering buying another, or perhaps a CZ. My Cherokee compact shows no wear even with this many rounds, including 300 of NATO 9mm.
