FN Forty-Nine. i love the way this gun feels in my hand but I hate the trigger on this gun. anyone know if it can be "fixed" so i dont need to start a training program for my trigger finger?

The striker in these guns is fully relaxed when there is a round in the chamber, so you are pulling against the entire spring. YOu could probably swap out the striker spring, but that might cause missfires.
I too think the gun feels great, but the heavy trigger discouraged me from buying one. It is literally 3x as heavy as my Glock trigger.

Thats why FN is replacing it with a DA/SA gun-nobody wanted that awful trigger pull. They screwed up BIG time on the forty nine.

I have a Forty Nine. It took me 2 range sessions with a few hundred rounds to get used to that trigger, but now I can shoot as well with it as with any other semi automatic. I actually do like the trigger better than the ones on my Glocks.
It's just a matter of getting used to it.
