Savage is marketing an Ithaca 37 clone. Where is it made. Anyone?
A model 37 clone for $260? It has gotta be made in China or Turkey.

Probably made in China as they have been making them for a while now. That gun has the worst looking stock I have seen. It is sure to beat the crap out of you.

I have been looking at this too. The real issue is that there doesn't seem to be any actually available anywhere. For that money I would buy one just to get a really good close look and wring it out a bit.

They are a new version of the Ithaca clone that was imported a fews years back. My local mom and pop gun store sold several of them and no one had any problems with them according to them.
I almost bought one and could kick my self for passing it up.
No doubt it's a Norinco and Stevens might have a decent pump gun for cheap if these pan out.
